Hi, I am Billy and this is me!

I am a passionate aspiring entrepreneur dedicated to engineering, technology, social impact, and business. I am committed to leveraging innovation and entrepreneurship to engineer technologies and solutions to enhance global quality of life, promote equal opportunities, and drive positive lasting global impact. Ultimately, I hope to make the world a better place.

I would love to have the opportunity to share my story with you. It has been quite a journey from my beginnings to where I am now. Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with amazing teams on fascinating projects and receiving some incredible recognitions.

Education

I graduated from St Paul’s Coeducational College (Hong Kong) in 2023 completing the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.

I am currently a freshman at Stanford University. My academic focus is in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science. I plan to graduate 2026/27 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Minor in Aerospace & Aeronautics and a Masters of Science in Computer Science.

I am gravely interested in the field of business, finance and entrepreneurship. In the past, I have initiated entrepreneurship projects, worked in the sectors of business and finance in addition to participated in business and finance competitions. In the future, I aspire to become an entrepreneur who could utilize my engineering foundations while combining them with my understanding of business and finance.

Working on an innovative social platform aiming to improve marketing-matching for Children with special education needs (SEN) in Hong Kong with the aid of technology

Working with prominent CEOs to empower youth entrepreneurial and promote social engagement

Researched Web3, Web3 development and startup firms in Hong Kong, covering aspects like crypto, blockchain, AI and virtual integration, and observed investment pipeline

I am well-versed in the fields of technology, engineering and science. In the past, I have had academic and industry experience in making as well as engineering large-scale solutions, with all of my builds aiming to make a positive impact on the world around us. I have also had the honor of winning some competitions in the science and engineering scope. In the future, I hope to make use of technology in crafting a better world.

Worked on the platform team on LLM, API and data governance, am the first international student representative of Hong Kong Science and Technology Park

Research Intern: Jardine Aviation Services Group

Collaborated with Greater Bay Airlines (GBA) and the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in researching the status quo of boarding methods and boarding in Hong Kong. Proposed boarding methods with improved efficiency using programming and simulations with the research published in IEEE journal in International Conference on Informatics and Computational Sciences

Worked on WebVR project using Aframe

I am deeply passionate in making a positive change on the world, especially to promote equality such that all individuals would have the opportunity to develop into the person they want to be.
